NEET (National Eligibility cum Entrance Test) is an entrance exam held by the National Testing Agency (NTA) in India for those students who are aiming for medical and dental courses at the graduate and post-graduate levels. It usually includes MBBS and BDS courses provided by private and government colleges in the country. The exam is based on a one-tier system and is usually conducted in the month of May on an annual basis.

Candidates preparing for NEET 2020 should know the NEET Exam Pattern which can help them to prepare better for the examination. NEET or National Eligibility cum Entrance Test is an offline exam with a time duration of 3 hours. A total of 180 MCQs is asked in the NEET exam from Physics, Chemistry, Biology (Botany & Zoology). Each question carries 4 marks and 1 mark is deducted for every wrong answer. The NEET question paper is asked in total, of 11 languages. NEET Exam Pattern 2020 – Guidelines for choosing the language

  1. The option of the medium of NEET 2020 question paper has to be exercised while filling in the application form.
  2. The option once exercised by candidates cannot be changed later.
  3. Candidates opting for English would be provided NEET Test Booklet in English only.
  4. Students opting for Hindi would be provided with a Bilingual Test Booklet in English and Hindi.
  5. All candidates opting for regional languages would also be provided with a Bilingual Test Booklet in their selected regional language and English.
  6. In case of any ambiguity in the translation of any of the questions, the English version of the NEET question paper 2020 shall be treated as final.
